BOLUSIL® for radiotherapy

Characteristics

BOLUSIL ® is a silicone Bolus.

It is a material, in elastomer, very similar to tissue, whose density is 1.05. It is placed in contact with a region to irradiate. It corrects surface irregularities and it gives a structure to the deep dispatch of a radiation dose.

BOLUSIL ® must be placed between the skin and the source of radiation.

BOLUSIL ® is:

• Flexible
• Transparent
• Easy to cut
• Sterilisable (by autoclave, ethylene oxide or irradiation)

It does not contain latex.
